Girli

Direct, raw and honest alt-pop from a London-based songstress that is both fierce and sensitive. Mix the singalong pop anthems of Olivia Rodrigo with the punky attitude of YungBlud, the lyrical relatability of Taylor Swift and the cool of Miley Cyrus and arrive at GIRLI; spokesperson for the lost & confused youth.

Lyrically, relatable, honest and “singalong" as Taylor Swift, mixed with the gen-z English tongue-in-cheek of a young Lily Allen and the young heartbroken self-aware rowdiness of Olivia Rodrigo and Lorde.

Melodically, very Miley Cyrus & Lorde pop, Halsey, Post Malone, big pop hooks.

Sonically, mainstream current guitarry pop like Olivia Rodrigo (deja vu, brutal), mixed with the electronic quirkiness of Grimes (Kill V Maim, Flesh without Blood), i like how Charli XCX tows the line between pop and alternative, the melodies are super pop but the music has sonically experimental aspects. The same with Caroline Polachek, in her big songs the music is very quirky and different but the melodies are super pop.
